This session will include short films of Manchester throughout the cinematic age, beginning with early silent footage, moving through the 1960s and 70s and culminating in a screening of contemporary visions of Manchester from popular television – a great language learning resource. This session will encourage students to interact with their environment and to discuss their opinions of Manchester as a city in the 21st century.
