Jane and Louise Wilson first exhibited at Cornerhouse as part of BT New Contemporaries in 1993. Since then they have earned themselves an international reputation as artists at the vanguard of contemporary art practice and were nominated for last year’s Turner Prize. Using photography and film in investigating the darker side of human experience, their atmospheric film installations are bother haunting and vivid in their evocation of place.This special event is an opportunity to hear Jane and Louise Wilson introduce and discuss their work. Video documentation of their powerful installation pieces will be screened alongside earlier short films.
