Co-Director of Artangel with Michael Morris, since 1991, and Artangel Media, set up in 2000, James Lingwood has commissioned and produced a range of projects for Artangel from Rachel Whiteread’s House to Tony Oursler’s The Influence Machine, and film and television projects such as Matthew Barney’s Cremaster 4, Douglas Gordon’s Feature Film and Richard Billingham’s Fishtank. He is trustee of the London-based artist’s group Cubitt Studios and is on the International Advisory Boards of the Museu de Serralves in Porto, the Atelier Calder in Saché, France and the Capc in Bordeaux.
