This screening will be introduced by Romy Tiongco of The Jubilee Debt Campaign (previously Jubilee 2000), who continue to campaign against excessive debt owed by poor countries. The introduction will cover the current situation in Jamaica (Romy was there during the ‘Petrol Riots’ of 1999), the work of the campaign and how the film illustrates the problem. There will be an opportunity for discussion after the screening.
