This INSET session focuses on the representation of young people on film and through a contextualising presentation and diverse clips from contemporary German cinema, Maggie Hoffgen will present a range of exercises and films that can be used in the classroom at both GCSE and A Level.
Teachers will be given a resource pack of materials that can be used with students in the classroom or for independent study.
A wide range of examples will be used in this session, and particular case studies will include the films of Hans-Christian Schmid (REQUIEM, CRAZY), JENSEITS DER STILLE (Link), DIE INNERE SICHERHEIT (Petzold) and LOLA RENNT (Tykwer).
