We all share the goal of making our work more accessible to D/deaf and disabled audiences, and it is vitally important that we do so, but it can be a little bit daunting if it’s something you’re not used to doing. This session is a workshop about the exciting possibilities of making your work more accessible and how that needn’t be a worry or a hurdle but an extra string to your bow as an artist. The session will be led by blind theatre maker Ben Wilson, Agent For Change at Sheffield Theatres and Artistic Director of Brick Wall Ensemble, and will give artists the opportunity to have an open and honest conversation and pool ideas about to support each other to create change in the industry and make theatre more accessible.
