Maz Hedgehog and mandla rae create a live, one-night only performative response to Human Measure by the groundbreaking artist Cassils, weaving in and amongst the gallery exhibition.

What happens when each of these different wordsmiths gaze upon the same pieces of art? What are the results of their different bodies and varying shades of Blackness taking up the gallery space? This performance is the sculpting together of each of these artist’s responses to Cassils’ work.
