How I Hacked My Way Into Space

A hilarious and moving storytelling show about one man’s mission to hack his way into space.

When UNSA patron Tim Peake got to fulfil his ambition of leaving the Earth for his mission to the International Space Station, UNSA’s Director of Human Spaceflight Jon Spooner knew that this was probably his best chance of getting up there too. Working with artists and technologists from across the world, Jon had himself scanned, 3D printed with his DNA embedded and painted to create a 6cm high “Mini Jon” whose ambition was to become UNSA’s first astronaut and join Tim on the ISS.

How I Hacked My Way Into Space tells the frankly, bizarre inspirational story of a 42 year old man’s midlife crisis creative adventure to hack his way into space from his garden shed in St Albans, via the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, to Johnson Space Centre in Houston Texas and a rocket launch at Cape Canaveral in Florida.

A brilliantly funny, real life tale of one man’s quest to achieve the seemingly impossibly…captivated both children and adults” childrenstheatrereviews.com
