Come and dance with ZooNation’s Rhimes Lecointe for a fun filled workshop in which she will explore different basic groove steps and Hip Hop foundations. No experience necessary and all ages welcome!
ZooNation is a groundbreaking Hip Hop dance theatre company, bringing together a professional dance company with training and performance opportunities for young people. ZooNation Dance Company was founded in London in 2002 by director and choreographer, Kate Prince. In May 2010 ZooNation became a Resident Company at Sadler’s Wells and Kate Prince became an Associate Artist.
Rhimes Lecointe has played many different roles on both stage and screen including Rap-on-Zel in the original Into The Hoods, as well as choreographing for the newly revamped version of the show Into The Hoods: Remixed, which recently had a successful run here at HOME, and Justine in the hit film Street Dance3D. In 2012 Rhimes and her all-female dance crew Boadicea reached the finals of Got to Dance and were invited to perform with Diversity on the arena tour of their show Digitized.
