Guest Network / MPA

Every month, Cornerhouse will welcome one of Manchester’s creative networks  to The Annexe. This is your opportunity to get a taste of what they have to offer in a welcoming environment, explore the richness of the creative sector in Manchester and attend an interesting event you may not have thought about attending before. These free events are open to all so if the content appeals to you, don’t hesitate! You may just discover a new network you will want to be part of for good.

For the first event of the series, we are pleased to welcome the MPA, for a panel discussion that will explore the question: What does Manchester’s creative sector do that is truly World Class? featuring MOFILM director Andy Baker and Mackinnon and Saunders‘ founder Peter Saunders.

EVENT DETAILS

With the imminent relocation of 5 major BBC departments to MediaCityUK, Manchester’s creative community truly arrives on the global stage. True, the city has spurned high-profile, often legendary, creative professionals but many would argue that the city lacks consistent successes. How can we collectively raise our aspirations and put Manchester at the forefront of the global creative scene?
