First Street Festival: All Hands on Deck Saturday

Everybody is invited to All Hands on Deck (AHoD) over the 24th-26th June for the AHoD HOME First Street Festival weekend!

On Sat 25 June at 14:00, those who identify as a woman/girl, non-binary or trans have the chance try out DJing at the AHoD Beginner DJ Workshop. No experience or knowledge necessary, just turn up, mix and have fun!

AHoD is Manchesters’ collective for women, non-binary and trans DJs & artists, who play electronic and dance music in a variety of genres.

Throughout the weekend, AHoD select Manchester’s finest up and coming DJ talent from their thriving community.

k.h0lle is a Multi-Genre DJ who is all about dotting the line between different eras of dance music in their sets. They have a particular affinity for the sounds of 90s Trance and Progressive House but always have an ear out for new music. Expect euphoric and psychedelic club bangers

DJ Scab
DJ Scab (Rory Da Silva) is a mixed medium artist, DJ & producer. He approaches a mix like he would a painting, telling a story through jacking beats.

“I’ve always been really into music and parties from my early 20s, I got into going to the legendary Sankey’s soaps House nights in the Northern Quarter and found Chicago house, mixed with booming techno nights in village basement parties and the White Hotel. Currently into crate digging and finding elusive tracks to create an eclectic journey.”
