BFI NETWORK Filmmaker Mixers bring together local creatives and provide opportunities for growing your network, finding collaborators and connecting with the filmmaking community.
As part of PUSH festival 2025, they’ll be hosting a special instalment of their mixers in partnership with the brilliant Fuse, a Manchester-based filmmaking collective uplifting underrepresented creatives for an evening of mixing and meeting.
There’s no set agenda for these events; we encourage you to introduce yourself to someone new and get talking. If networking is your worst nightmare don’t worry, members of Film Hub North, Fuse and HOME will be at hand if you want to be introduced to people or just want someone to chat to at the start.
Absolutely anyone is welcome to join, whether you’re new to the industry or a film veteran. No need to be a member of Fuse or have a PUSH Festival ticket, but due to limited capacity registration is required.
Fuse is a Manchester-based collective uplifting underrepresented (ethnic minority) creatives. They run workshops, socials, and talks with their community, share opportunities and actively showcase creatives across socials. If you want to know more about Fuse, find them at fusemcr.com or @fusemanchester. Everyone’s welcome to Fuse’s events, but they actively encourage Black, Asian, and Global Majority creatives to join and be a part of Fuse’s diverse community. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to fusedirectory@gmail.com
