Filmmaker Masterclass with Beatrice Gibson

Award-winning artist filmmaker Beatrice Gibson joins us for this year’s HOME Artist Film Weekender, where we will be screening her most recent films, I Hope I’m Loud When I’m Dead & Deux sœurs qui ne sont pas sœurs.

Join us before the screening for an in-depth exploration of Beatrice’s creative practice and her experience in moving image. There will be the opportunity to discuss Beatrice’s work in person and ask questions. Beatrice has been nominated for this year’s Jarman Award and has received global recognition for her work, she won the 17th Baloise Art Prize and has received two Tiger Awards for Best Short Film at Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2009 and 2013.

Please Note: This event takes place at Paradise Works Artist Studios, East Philip Street, Salford, M3 7LE. Access is via stairs only.
