FilmFear, created and curated by Film4 and HOME, returns with a selection of strange, scary and provocative films that highlight the many unexpected ways horror can take shape on-screen.
We get started early this year with returning hero Ben Wheatley, whose new zombie-comedy TV series gets a one-off cinema preview. Our Halloween highlight is a double-bill celebrating a classic horror icon, while other nights showcase new voices finding fresh and imaginative ways to use horror and fantasy to explore psychological states. And, as always, there are cult favourites for those who prefer to stay in their discomfort zone.
