After storming onto screens with the award-winning series ALL QUIET ON THE PRESTON FRONT, he went on to win plaudits for one-offs such as NEVILLE’S ISLAND, THE FLINT STREET NATIVITY, and BORDER CAFE. Tim’s first feature film, CALENDAR GIRLS, went to number one in the UK boxoffice, becoming the seventh most successful British film of all time. BLACKBALL, starring Paul Kaye, Johnny Vegas and Vince Vaughn came out the same year, and last month Tim’s work returned to the big screen again with the acclaimed comedy KINKY BOOTS.Today Tim will be in conversation with the head of BBC Drama, Anne Mensah.
