Creatures of Catharsis Bruntwood Stage Takeover

Creatures of Catharsis is a Queer Cabaret turned Queer Art Collective with a focus on celebrating all mediums of Queer Artistry and all forms of the Queer Artist.

Created in 2017, Creatures of Catharsis uses their platform to centre an array of Queer artists, specifically heralding Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming performers, from Manchester and Beyond. Created and curated by Beau Azra, Creatures boasts a history of successful collaborative events with FatOut Festival, Escape To Freight Island, Trans Creative and more.

With an emphasis on the political, Creatures of Catharsis is unapologetically ‘the other’ and celebrates their reviewed reputation of “aggressively trans positive” as a badge of hot pink honour. Creatures of Catharsis creates space to ‘just be’ – whatever that may be, wherever that may be.

Creatures of Catharsis is an space that does not tolerate any kind of phobias, created BY Queer people FOR Queer people. In stepping into our space you adhere to our rules.
