Led by an industry professional with experience of working with trainee and professional actors, this workshop focused on the skills and techniques needed to bring a monologue or duologue to life. Participants also got the chance to talk through what to expect from drama training, the factors they should consider when choosing a course and what a director looks for and considers when running auditions.
Creative Careers workshops are for 15-18 year olds (Year 10 – Year 13), sessions are free to attend and no previous experience is required. Lunch will be provided for free and travel reimbursement of up to £5 will be provided upon proof of travel by bus, tram or train.
Petrol or parking reimbursement will not be possible.
