We are thrilled to launch our new Creative Careers in The Spotlight offer to Schools and Colleges!
In 2019, Lonely Planet voted HOME one of the ‘Top 500 Experiences in the UK’ and “one of Britain’s best art centres”… In 2021, HOME was named in the Top 10 of TimeOut’s 50 Best Cinemas in the UK and Ireland. Now we want to show you what makes HOME one of Manchester’s most significant Cultural Venues.
We are inviting students from Years 9-13 across Greater Manchester to learn more about pursuing creative careers across Theatre, Film and/or Visual Art. Join Emily, HOME’s Access & Work Based Training Coordinator, to find out about the different departments and people who make our outstanding venue the creative hub it is today. From the Projection Team, the Head of Theatre, Front of House staff, to the Finance department, and beyond, this is perfect for anybody striving to work in the arts world.
Join us for a 90-minute session comprising a bespoke presentation guiding you through the venue’s history, creative career opportunities, and the latest performances, festivals and events. You will also have the chance to have a peek behind the curtain and explore the venue.
