Creative Careers: Sound and Music for Film, Theatre & Image

This practical workshop will introduce participants to creating sound design and music for film, theatre, dance and other art forms with professional composer and sound designer Caro C. You will learn how to produce the sounds to fit what is happening in picture, using Garageband (app and software). No experience necessary, only enthusiasm! If you play a musical instrument feel free to bring it along to use in the workshop.

Caro C creates her own brand of electronic music using technology, her voice, piano and guest musicians. She is a found sound enthusiast, using non musical objects to make her music, such as ice cubes clinking in a glass. Caro has produced 3 albums and music and sound for film, theatre, dance and even sculpture. Check out Caro’s work at www.carocsound.com.
