Join Clean Break and the Sites of Resistance Collective from MMU on 19 September from 5.30pm in a curated space as they invite you to explore the theme of women in prison.
This event will include an array of stalls and dedicated spaces from a wide range of groups and organisations that support women in prison, along with an exhibition from Clean Break showcasing the history of this ground-breaking theatre company and its commitment to raising the voices of marginalised women.
The evening will culminate at 8.45pm with a panel discussion exploring the impact of arts in the criminal justice system, the importance of research and activism in shaping a counter narrative around criminalised women and the potential for action that can lead to.
