Join architect and art guide Martin Glover for a bespoke tour of Brass Art: rock, quiver and bend.
This is a BSL-led tour with no spoken English that is designed for deaf and hard of hearing BSL users.
This summer HOME Manchester will present rock, quiver and bend, an exhibition of new work by Brass Art, (Chara Lewis, Kristin Mojsiewicz and Anneke Pettican), bringing together immersive video, sculpture and lens-based media.
The work featured in rock, quiver and bend explores how light transforms materials through the use of analogue, digital and laser-based forms of capture. In this exhibition, light will digitally rake through the house, garden and writing room of Virginia Woolf, it will transform suspended silver landscapes, and illuminate portraits of the artists disguised in cellophane.
Martin will guide you to create connections, explore your own interpretation of the work, and challenge perceptions through engaging conversation.
Attendees are welcome to join Martin after the tour for an informal discussion in the café-bar.
This event is free, tickets are limited so booking is essential. Don’t miss out, get yours today!
