Richard Dyer pioneered the study of queer film in the UK and authored the hugely influential Gays and Film in 1977. B. Ruby Rich coined the term “New Queer Cinema”, is a film critic and cultural theorist and has curated for the Sundance Film Festival. Together they willl look back at key moments in queer cinema, and ahead to new queer work making waves internationally. An evening of clips, conversation, insight, and perhaps a little gossip.
