Audition technique

Actors workshops in partnership with the Library Theatre Manchester

The Course

A practical workshop that breaks down the audition procedure from the preliminary script preparation right through to the recall stages.

Participants will also receive intensive direction and advice on audition speeches.

We will be using Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest and individual audition speeches. For this workshop please read and bring a copy of The Importance of Being Earnest and a 3-minute speech that you would like to work on.

This is an invaluable workshop for actors new to the business or theatre auditioning and people applying to drama schools.

This workshop is aimed at professional actors desiring more audition technique and people applying to drama schools. If you do not fall under this category and would like to attend out of interest in audition technique then you are more than welcome.

Participants should come to all workshops wearing comfortable clothes that they can move around in.
