Abandon Normal Devices Festival heads back to Manchester during the Olympic summer, with an eclectic programme of art, new cinema and digital culture exploring the theme of ‘success?’.
The celebrations begin with the AND Festival Preview, Fri 22 – Sat 23 Jun, timed to coincide with the Manchester leg of the Olympic Torch Relay.
Following the preview, AND Festival will set off on a tour of the North West culminating in a triumphant return of AND Festival from Wed 29 Aug -Sun 2 Sep 2012 in Manchester.
2012 is AND Festival’s most adventurous to date, with exclusive screenings including the premieres of Andrew Kötting’s Swandown, and AL & AL’s tribute to Alan Turing, The Creator. Major new exhibitions, including Stanya Kahn: It’s Cool, I’m Good at Cornerhouse, plus performances, installations, online projects and more bring together the UK’s pioneering digital, science, design and media sectors in boundary stretching collaborations.
