The shortlisted artists for this year’s ‘best of British’ have been announced. Those up for the big prize are Karla Black, Martin Boyce, Hilary Lloyd and George Shaw. For only the second time in the Turner Prize’s illustrious 27 year history, the major exhibition is taking place outside London and this year is being hosted by the BALTIC in Gateshead.
