We are really excited because it is only 2 weeks until we go to see ‘The Wind in the Willows’ at the Lowry. We have been getting really funny letters from our actor every week and, because he’s playing Toad, we have been thinking a lot about Toad’s character. We have started to read Alan Bennett’s version of the play and we like it very much. It’s really funny! We read the part about their riverside picnic and have decided that we’re going to recreate it on the day we come to the theatre. We’re looking forward to eating gherkins and bloater paste!
