A couple of weeks ago, Cornerhouse Publications celebrated 25 years of exhibiting at Frankfurt Book Fair. To mark this significant occasion, the book fair organisers presented us with a deliciously large chocolate cake, which we were able to share with the visitors that came to our stand.
We are getting ready to receive stock of the highly anticipated William S. Burroughs: Cut, which will be made available to purchase on our website as soon as it arrives. This key title is published by Walther Koenig, and has been produced for an exhibition at ZKM (in 2012) and Deichtorhallen Hamburg Sammlung Falckenberg (March – June 2013) entitled The Name is Burroughs. It comes hot on the heels of Kerber Verlag’s own Burroughs title, The Art of William Burroughs: Cut-ups, Cut-ins, Cut-outs, which continues to prove very popular with our customers.
Just arrived in stock is Manchester Art Gallery’s latest catalogue – First Cut: Paper at the Cutting Edge. This covers their recently opened exhibition that concentrates on 30 contemporary artists who work in revolutionary ways with paper. The exhibition runs in Manchester until 27 Jan 2013.
You will no doubt be pleased to hear that JRP Ringier’s bestseller, Dorothea Von Hantelmann: How to Do Things with Art is due to reprint shortly and should arrive in stock very soon. The first print run of this key text sold out, so get your copy as soon as you can, so you don’t miss out.
Finally, Chinese Arts Centre’s, The Song of the Machines: Yu-Chen Wang is due into stock soon, too. The book is launching at Chinese Arts Centre, Manchester this Thurs 25 October.
