HOME hives in the January snow!

The HOME bees continue their own lockdown as they stay huddled together over the cold winter months. HOME’s very own beekeepers took a very quick peek this week to top up their food supplies.

The bees are huddled together in a cluster that they keep at a toasty 35ºC. You can see the warmth emitted by the circle on the roof of the hive in – they’ve defrosted it from the inside!

Keeping all our fingers crossed that they keep safe and cosy over the next couple of months until Spring arrives.

You can check in on our bees anytime via our Beecam here.
