A major community project that will be taking place in East and North Manchester during Autumn 2010 and Spring 2011.
The project will investigate the importance of craftsmanship in 21st Century Communities working towards a community based performance inspired by this theme that will take place in Spring 2011.
Do you know someone who used to work in a mill in Manchester? Did you used to work with your hands in local industry? Are you able to do a craft that is special or unusual? Are there crafts and skills that you remember from your childhood that you feel are now dying out? If you answered yes to any of these questions we’d love to talk to you!
The project is happening between September 2010 and April 2011
