A lot of exposure

So last week we hosted exposures the UK’s leading student film and moving image festival. It was a brilliant three days showcasing the best young talent from around the country and gave a great insight into how the film and TV industry works. Student filmmakers travelled from as far as Glasgow and London to attend the festival and there was a real buzz about the place.

As always there were plenty of industry professionals on hand so lots of useful advice was given out…

We learnt that having a driving licence was a real advantage if you wanted to be a runner, ideas are the currency of the industry, researching the company/commissioner you’re pitching to is key and that as a director you should always trust your intuition. These were just a few little tips that came to light during the festival but for more detailed advice we definitely recommend you check out the exposures blog here with lots of video, audio and useful written info.

And as always to celebrate the end of another great exposures we put on the Best of the Fest to give out this years prestigious awards. Congratulations to all the winners – the quality of the films was outstanding.

A big thank you and well done to all involved.
