Now open in our gallery is Louis Henderson’s new solo exhibition Overtures, co-commissioned by HOME as part of ¡Viva! Festival 2018. Louis’ brand new film installation is based around a collaboration in the Haitian city of Port-au-Prince, and takes place between two locations; France and Haiti – in which a ghost story unfolds about the history of the Haitian revolution.
Accompanying the exhibition is a programme of films related to the themes of identity, displacement and revolution. Check out the full line-up here.
There’s only one week left to catch Mario Popham and Tom Baskeyfield’s exhibition of photographs and drawings inspired by the Welsh slate communities and their link to industrial Manchester, must close Sun 29 Apr.
Keep up to date with the latest news and forthcoming releases from HOME Artist Film.
