To celebrate our current exhibition HOW ARE YOU FEELING? artist David Shrigley has been busy in the kitchen conjuring up a little treat for you.
From 14:00 today you will be able to buy David Shrigley Anti-Pychotic Brain Bread at Bakerie in the Northern Quarter. Yes that’s right, lovely brain shaped loaves with anti-pychotic properties. We’ve tried it here in the Cornerhouse office and can happily report back it’s really rather tasty. Main ingredients include beetroot, walnuts and ginko and each loaf will be wrapped in a hand signed bread label by David himself.
Only 13 loaves will be made each week for the 12 week run of the exhibition and they are priced at £5 a pop. They will hit the Bakerie shelves at 14:00 every Wednesday and are expected to be snapped up fast so be quick if you fancy one.
Alongside Bakerie’s brain bread, David has also put together a special Shrigley Menu for our Cafe Bar here at Cornerhouse. You can tuck into a Sausage & Chips Pizza rounded off with an Anti-Psychotic French Fancy all washed down with an Absolut Shrigley cocktail. Bon appetit!
