Marion Crane, a real estate secretary in Phoenix, goes on the run after stealing $40,000 from her employer.

Heading for the safety of her boyfriend’s house in California, Marion’s escape is delayed by a storm that forces her to take refuge at the Bates Motel – an eerie establishment run by an unusual young man named Norman and his mysterious mother.

Perhaps the most famous – and infamous – of all Hitchcock’s films, Psycho is the picture where the Master of Suspense careened headlong into horror. Packed with moments that burn like afterimages in the retina of cinema history, Psycho still has the power to thrill. It must be experienced on the big screen.
