By examining some key motifs in Hitchcock’s films, this course will seek to read his work as an auteur. We will look at the films in chronological order using clips, slides and secondary material in order to unpick the specific themes that might inform Hitchcock’s work. By the end of the course, it is hoped that attendees will have a greater insight into the work of The Master.
