This absolute beginners’ course introduces participants to the basic concepts of film as a (narrative) art form in a lively and well-structured way. The overall aim of the course is for students to get to know a variety of films and their contexts, to begin to express their opinions on film in a more detailed, more informed way, and above all to enhance their experience of watching films.
The course includes six sessions with the course tutor and two course screenings.
