HOME’s quarterly showcase of films made by writers, directors or producers currently based in the North West.

From grassroots guerrilla filmmakers to established productions companies, the film community is thriving in our region.

Join us for an evening screening and discover a wide variety of short films from filmmaker based in the region and stay on to chat with them and each other in the bar afterwards.

The entire programme is selected by a panel of audience members from open submissions.

Submissions are free and we accept short films under 20 mins in duration, of any genre, old or new, made by filmmakers (director, writer or producer) based in the North West.

2025 submissions deadlines:

·         Thu 10 Jul 2025 for the Sep 2025 screening

·         Thu 25 Sep 2025 for the Dec 2025 screening
