CSO Manchester (Dir Patrick Gallagher)

Rookie Community Support Officer Duncan embarks on his first patrol of the Burnage council estate, paired with seasoned CSO Vince — a man who wears his superiority like a hi-vis vest. But when a family emergency pulls Duncan off course, his gentle induction becomes a full-blown baptism of fire. This wry police reality mockumentary blends realism, heart, and the kind of policing wisdom that never quite made it into the handbook.

Quentin’s  Waterhouse (Dir Sean Reynard)

Quentin investigates the goings on in his dollshouse in the room he ought'nt go in upstairs.

The High Road (Dir Cheyenne Christie)

An estranged mother and daughter reunite as they embark on a road trip whilst navigating their past trauma and strained relationship. A symbol for all women failed by their mothers.

Outlasting (Dir Lewis Doherty)

A celebration of the resilience of Jeffrey Dudgeon and Northern Ireland’s queer activists who bravely faced the courts and police to pave the way for a more open and progressive Northern Ireland.

Black Salt Hymn (Dir Martina Salvo and Eoin McKenna)

The haunting journey of a woman who, after losing her husband, finds herself adrift in a silent sea of grief, where the sky is silent and her prayers are lost in the wild land. Abandoned by the light, in a void without answers, she enters dark paths, immersing herself in the depths of rituals and ancient magic. In her desperate cry, only the earth answers her. Driven by the echo of an eternal love, she tries to cross the invisible boundary between the living and the dead, chasing the twin flame that still burns in the depths of her soul. A story of loss, of invocation and of rebirth.

Glimmer (Dir Sam Bonser)

Glimmer is an animated short film about the joys of looking and drawing. It is a love letter to my creative practice and to the way that it allows me to see the world brightly and vividly.

Overexposed (Dir Joab Harrison)

Overexposed is an investigation into the wreckage of a B29 Flying Fortress which crashed on remote moorland at Bleaklow, in the Peak District. Drawing influence from the deep-mapping strategies of Michael Shanks and Clifford McLucas, the project combines new and archival footage with the artist’s creative responses to produce a hybrid of documentary and experimental filmmaking. Multiple narratives of the aircraft are explored and coalesced throughout the film, including its former role as a photographic reconnaissance plane for nuclear tests on Bikini Atoll, the event of the crash and the artist’s own investigative journey.

Carve (Dir Erin Dutton)

Carve is supernatural horror tale about desperately making a last stand and trying to change your fate. It follows our protagonist Lucy, as she returns to familiar surroundings to pitch her skill and wits against a malevolent force intent on reclaiming a debt it is owed.

Dear Diary (Dir Ellie Tracey)

Dear Diary delves into the raw, unfiltered emotions of a shy, introverted teenaged over thinker, through the lens of my 22-year old self. By revisiting and reacting to the diaries I kept during my formative teenage years, I create a dialogue between the past and present versions of myself, bridging a gap through time. The film weaves together a narration of me reading my old diary entries with hand drawn mixed media and stop motion animations from both childhood and present day. The result offers a unique and deeply personal exploration of memory, growth, femininity and self-reflection, bringing my younger voice back to life on screen.

Once Upon a Time in the North West (Dir Ieva Zilionyte)

‘Flint, a traditional American cowboy, is at odds with his town’s community in the North-West of England. After his prize sheep mysteriously disappears, Flint goes on the hunt, but he tries and fails to use his cowboy skills to find his beloved animal.  After multiple setbacks, Flint begins to doubt he can bring his sheep home and questions his life as a cowboy. When an unexpected ally gives him a lead, Flint must reignite his self-belief to win a final showdown and rescue his sheep.

Mouse (Dir Charlie Moone)

On a rural farm, a boy clings to his friendship with a small mouse, unravelling the relationship between him and his father.

The Archway (Dir Matthew Wood)

After discovering an impossible archway in her father's workshop, a grieving daughter battles between staying in the past or taking a leap of faith.
