Miami, Florida. Three-Twenty PM. April the Twenty-Fourth, Nineteen Hundred and Forty-Six.

When her father is convicted of treason as a Nazi collaborator, Alicia Huberman hides from the world in the company of friends and alcohol. While hosting a party, she encounters the mysterious T.R. Devlin – a suave US agent who has been tasked with recruiting Alicia to help root out Nazi plotters in Rio de Janeiro, using her father’s past as an alibi.

Despite falling for one another, Devlin and Alicia must maintain a professional distance as Alicia infiltrates a shadowy cabal by manipulating her old flame, Alexander Sebastian.

One of two indisputable masterpieces to emerge from Cary Grant and Alfred Hitchcock’s creative partnership, Notorious is in many ways the brooding older brother to North by Northwest. Here, the stakes are high, the mood is taut and Grant delivers a compelling performance as a wounded soldier battling against circumstance.
