Presented by Reclaim The Frame, join award-winning author Anita Sethi for a creative writing workshop, inspired by the cinema release of The Salt Path.

In this workshop, we will explore themes including ecologies and the environment; making a journey; home; class and writing from the margins; overcoming obstacles - and how writing itself is a journey.

This workshop is free, but ticketed – sign up now to secure your place. This session is open to everyone; no previous writing experience is required. Participants should bring writing materials – whether pen and paper, or digital.

Anita Sethi is the Wainwright-Prize shortlisted author of I Belong Here: a Journey Along the Backbone of Britain, which won a Books Are My Bag Award and was nominated for the Great Outdoors Award and Royal Society of Literature's Ondaatje Prize for writing evoking 'the spirit of a place'.  I Belong Here chronicles her epic walk along the Pennine Way and the restorative power of walking and nature on physical and mental health.

Presented in partnership with Reclaim The Frame: a charity that champions marginalised perspectives in cinema, connecting with audiences and communities through special screenings and events across the UK.
