HOMEgrown is our 10th anniversary fundraising campaign, celebrating a decade of nurturing artists and cultivating creativity for everyone.
HOME is a registered charity (514719). We offer free creative opportunities to local artists, communities and young people. In 2024, in addition to our exceptional public programme of theatre, film and visual art, we also: · Supported 4,000 people to be creative through our Creative Development programme, including working with 100 schools.
· Achieved a social, health and wellbeing impact of £0.65m.
· Supported 750 emerging and mid-career artists to establish a sustainable career through our Artist Development programme.
Now, we’re aiming even higher and we need your help to reach our goal. Through HOMEgrown, you can help our Artist Development programme to flourish and reach up to 2,000 artists each year — with 50% of space and development opportunities reserved for creatives from underrepresented backgrounds.
For 10 years, HOME has been a safe space for creativity to take seed and grow, cultivating outstanding art through commissions, residencies, workshops, mentoring and training. Our Artist Development programme has helped thousands of emerging, early-career and mid-career creatives take their next step — whether that’s making their first film, producing a new piece of theatre, or exhibiting their art to the public for the first time.
HOMEgrown donations will safeguard these creative opportunities for the artists of tomorrow. Artists are facing mounting challenges in accessing opportunities, space, and financial support and, with your help, HOME can offer them a rare opportunity to grow right here in the heart of the city, free of financial burden, free of worry; free to thrive.
At the heart of this vision is HOME Arches, our brand-new artist development hub. It houses free, fully equipped studio spaces, a dedicated technician and access to free support from HOME’s Artist Development Producers and extensive artist network, giving artists the tools, time, and support to develop their practice, experiment with new artforms and create bold new work.
