Manchester Film Festival - the city’s biggest celebration of new, independent film – is back for its 2026 edition.

This year, HOME hosts a trio of British debut features from some of the most exciting new cinematic voices working in the UK today.

Local filmmaking talent plays a big part in the line-up too – Manchester and North West filmmakers are showcased with screenings of left-field mystery story Misper, synth-soaked thriller Synthesized and an installment of the festival’s ever-popular North West Shorts programme.
