A queer sci-fi comedy that's out of this world - Lesbian Space Princess rockets beyond expectation. Debut directors Emma Hough Hobbs and Leela Varghese have created a riotous, heart-fuelled animated adventure that embraces diverse LGBTQIA+ voices, on and off-screen. Critics are praising the film for its "sly and witty" script and its ability to blend laughter, identity and ambition into something both joyful and real.

Lesbian Space Princess premiered at Berlinale 2025, where it took home the Teddy Award for Best Feature Film. It also won the Audience Award for Feature Fiction at Adelaide Film Festival and Best Australian Feature at Sydney Film Festival.
