The ninth instalment in his internationally bestselling Slough House series, Clown Town drags Jackson Lamb’s team of misfit spies into dangerous territory when a buried operation from the Troubles resurfaces. Mick Herron is the bestselling author of the Slough House thrillers, adapted for the screen as the Apple TV+ series Slow Horses starring Gary Oldman, Kristin Scott Thomas and Jack Lowden. His Zoë Boehm detective series which began with Down Cemetery Road is also being adapted into a major TV series starring Emma Thompson and Ruth Wilson. This year he was awarded the highest accolade in crime fiction, the CWA Diamond Daggers for his outstanding contribution to the genre and he is a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
