A workshop from the producers of Golden Time
Join Scottish Poet Performer Kate Ireland and community arts collective Blether for a two hour
workshop on creating and writing work that links to our personal experience.
This workshop is informed from both Kate Ireland and Blether’s work and their hit debut theatre
production ‘Golden Time (And Other Behavioural Management Strategies)’ - showing at HOME's Theatre 2 between Thu 26 Feb and Sat 28 Feb.
Across two hours we will explore various approaches to writing from our own experience whilst
looking at neuroinclusivity within creative practice. Together we will explore themes of childhood,
play, joy, softness and expressing ourselves to ease our minds against productivity pressures.

About Blether
‘Blether’ are a community arts collective inspired by and dedicated to the Scottish
verb ‘blether’ – talking in a long-winded way without making sense. Blether is a space for everyone
dedicated to storytelling, community and subversive joy. Established in 2022 we create events,
writing workshops and theatre that are pure, warm, weird and tender based in MCR and across the
UK (including London and Glasgow).
