A Kettle, a Clown and a Crush: Young Film Collective Short Film Showcase (15)

The HOME Young Film Collective is a 12 month programme for young people aged 18-25 who are based in Manchester and Greater Manchester. 

The Young Film Collective meet for bi-weekly workshops, film screenings and industry talks. They are also HOME’s Young Programmers, having worked with our film team to selecting films throughout the year to screen in our cinema.

This year’s cohort have explored filmmaking through a series of workshops with industry professionals, putting their skills into practice as they split into groups, were given individual roles and made a short film together with a micro budget of £500.

We are excited for you to join us at this special event to celebrate the Young Film Collective with speeches, behind the scenes snippets and the premiering of their short films.
