TOM’S MIDNIGHT GARDEN

Tom, a twelve year old boy is furious when he is sent away for the summer to stay with his aunt and uncle in their boring flat because his brother has measles. There is nothing to do there and no one to play with. He counts the days until he can return home.
One night, unable to sleep, Tom hears the landlady’s grandfather clock strike thirteen times. Tom is led to the great hall where the grandfather clock sits, to discover the beginning of a wonderful and magical secret that’s almost too amazing to be true. But it is true and in this new world that Tom discovers he meets a special friend called Hatty who leads him into a summer full of adventures.
