The Safari Party

a Library Theatre Company Production

The Participants in this moving feast are a pair of brothers trying to keep their rundown farm afloat, a local antique dealer and a nouveau riche businessman and his family who have just moved to the country.
Join us at a dinner party in deepest Cheshire.
When an old Kitchen table the lad flogged at a car boot sale turns up in a businessman’s home as an antique bought from a dealer, who invented an elaborate folk history for it, the stage is set for a catalogue of incidents with hilarious consequences.
Poking a comic figure at the heritage industry through acute observation and sharp dialogue, The Safari Party is a gourmet evening to savour.
