The Mouse And His Child

Open Hand Theatre Company

In the Toyshop window, with outstretched arms and joined hands, stood The Mouse and His Child. When the key in The Mouse’s back was wound, he danced in a circle swinging his little son up and down , tinny limbs flickering in the glow of the Toyshop lights. But when the Toyshop closes and clock shouts ‘midnight’, the toys talk to each other all night long.
Little did they know that in the shadows outside lurked the King of the Wind-Ups; Manny Rat…
Needless to say, good triumphs over evil and after many adventures they return home to their beloved dolls house.
