Cloakroom Theatre presents

Sex With Robots and Other Devices

“I turned it off. Shut it down. Re-booted it. It started asking questions and I didn’t like that, made me feel uncomfortable.”

Winner of the 2018 Adrian Pagan Award for Best New Play, Sex With Robots and Other Devices is Nessah Muthy’s fearless examination of the future of sex.

Journey to a world where your partner can arrive in an Amazon package or your child can be chosen off the top shelf. It could be the answer to all our problems, but what might we lose along the way? By turns intriguing, amusing and terrifying, Sex With Robots and Other Devices offers a fascinating vision of where humanity could be heading next…

This production is supported by The King’s Head Theatre, Royal Victoria Hall Foundation and Old Diorama Arts Centre.

“A playwright willing to put big, ambitious ideas on stage.” – The Times

★★★★ “Powerful and passionate.” – Evening Standard on The Host

★★★★ “Bold, incendiary writing.” – The Upcoming on Heroine
