What sound could be more characterisitic of the North than that of a great brass band? And which Lancashire band could be better loved then Besses O’ Th’ Barn Brass Band? Founded in 1818, the band had played major music festivals all over the UK and Europe, broadcasts regularly on radio and TV sells records worldwide. The Besses have appeared at the most prestigious London music venues including the Royal Festival Hall and St Martin’s in the Field, they’ve been BBC Band of the year and British Open Champions.
Now for one night only, they entertain us at the Forum Theatre, Wythenshawe, with a concert to show off the full range of their great talent.
